Updated to the new wl driver, still have the same issue. I get the message:

TKIP: RX tkey->key_idx=2 frame keyidx=1 priv=ffff88013386cb40

several hundred times, then a kernel panic with the blinking caps lock. Switching back to b43-fwcutter for now.
