I have a HP Pavilion dv6000 with a BCM4312 card, I normally use a Linksys WUSB54GC because the bcm driver (with b43-fwcutter) didn't quite work for me.

I noticed the Broadcom STA driver so I tried it, after a while, the whole computer freezes with a blinking caps lock.
