Hmm I'm sorely tempted to say that this bug should be marked as fixed as the problem that I originally described sounds (ha) like it has been fixed. I would recommend that new single issue bugs with a single set of steps to reproduce be filed on the other issues (such as front/back issues in a surround sound setup). This is partly because I only have a 2.0 setup and partly because that means that the issues can be resolved separately one at at time.
