This bug still exists on Lucid:

karmic-pc $ ssh lucid-pc gnome-terminal
Failed to get the session bus: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-B95HmT1Dsv: Connection refused

This is what, 3 releases in a row now that this bug has persisted?
