Might just be limited to windows incoming. When I use the test bot <email address hidden> and I issue the !videome command, empathy doesn't crash. On the other hand, all I see for video on the other side, is black. Whereas when I initiate a video call to the bot, I see my own image echoed back to me from the bot.
Regardless, it doesn't crash the way incoming Windows gtalk video chats do.
