Hi there, I tracked down one potential race condition that might affect you here. I uploaded a fix to a PPA. Could you upgrade to the latest package in https://launchpad.net/~ecryptfs/+archive/ppa and retry your test?

That would be the ecryptfs-utils 101-0ubuntu1~ppa1 version for Precise.
