I was able to reproduce the file conflict error when updgrading d4x from the version in jaunty to the version in karmic, 2.5.7.1-6ubuntu1, and can confirm that the version in karmic-proposed upgrades successfully. Simple test downloads with d4x worked, though I didn't exercise the application very hard. Marking verification-done, thanks.
