Comment 16 for bug 544139

Ok, I'm gonna try the work-around suggested in the forum. bug 554172 does not look like it's the same I'm seeing though because restart doesn't fix the problem only a total shutdown and then start again sometimes fixes the problem temporarily.

@DD: I can see the power off and suspend buttons but every time I click them it just takes me back to the login screen. Does that mean it's a different issue?
