Comment 13 for bug 544139

Two remarks:

1) you will have to reactivate your network connection(s) the first time you login after doing the 3 changes proposed by Sepero. Obviously purging ifupdown has something to do with that... ;-)

2) the ureadahead errors that I mentioned previously seem to happen just after X starts (between a screen flash and my nvidia logo)

I have now 40 reboots and... no problems! Could this be It??
