Comment 238 for bug 296167

We had another debugging session and it looks like the cursor rendering for animated cursors is at fault. If you step through it in gdb, the cursors actually jump back to the old screen for a fraction of a second. This confuses the internal screen variables and triggers the bug.

Can you try to recreate the bug by switching the cursor theme to something without animated cursors?
