Just a heads-up, I had debugging session with Robert and we couldn't identify the issue yet. But here's a few things I'd need from you:

- are you on a 64 bit box?
- please get http://people.freedesktop.org/~whot/grabtest.c, compile it with gcc -o grabtest -lX11 grabtest.c and run it when the mouse is stuck. Does it report success for both mouse and keyboard?
- does xev show anything (movements, button events) when the mouse is stuck?
- does evtest show events when the mouse is stuck in X?

I'm waiting on a rather special logfile from Robert now, but the above information will help figuring out whether you two see the same issue.
