Distributed, highly available, NSPOF, multi-master, linearly scalable sequence provider that provides regular incrementing sequences under good conditions and falls back to unique (but with skipped values) behavior with lack of communication. Built on Twisted Web.
Is this even possible to achieve? Maybe not, but I'll experiment here.
