Welcome to the first release of SpreadUbuntu, a project by the Ubuntu Marketing team.
This release includes several languages translated or ready to be translated and basic, unpolished features of what in time will become the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) part of the SpreadUbuntu Marketing site.
So let's get down to business!
Become an Ubuntu *hero* even if you can't code. Here is how:
* Just by visiting and using the site to GET your ubuntu marketing material you are helping us!
* Help us grow our material database by adding material in any language (we know there's lots of it out there)!
* Do translation work for your own language within our website interface! It's drupal based baby! So:
* Create an account and use your LaunchPad OpenID. How? Simply add the following URL under OpenID in MyAccount: https:/

Release notes
A great repository for marketing material working on top of the drupal CMS platform.
Among other features, this release gives you:
* A central repository for all ubuntu marketing material. Now THAT has been needed for a long, long time!
* Now you can not only have access to *download* part of the global pool of ubuntu marketing material but you can also share your own self-made material or others (as long as the license allows this), upload your own changes and/or translations. It's all ready and waiting for you!
* Multilingual support: SpreadUbuntu translated in your own language, or ready to be translated, so please do if you can!
* Use your vote! Rate your favorite material, keep track of the number of downloads and not only have access to the material in a printable format (png, jpeg, gif and more) but also access THE SOURCES for the material (sgv, odf, xcf and more) so you can make your own changes!
* Register yourself once and from there just use LaunchPad's OpenID login. How? Simple. Add https:/
