SCons trunk series
The "trunk" series represents the primary line of development rather than a stable release branch. This is sometimes also called MAIN or HEAD.
Despite the above, trunk can and is used as a production tool -- the test coverage is excellent and the policy is never to have a trunk with any test fails.
