can't remove an unavailable language from my preferences

Bug Description

I have "Australian languages" in my list of preferred languages. That seems to have now been removed from the list of Rosetta languages (and a good thing too, because it's a meaningless term.) However, it now doesn't appear in the list of languages and so I can't remove it from my account.

One of danilo's branch that I've reviewed contains a fix for this.

So, any way to test if this is actually fixed? Martin, do you still have "Australian languages" in your list, and can you try removing them now?

No I can't, because someone removed them in response to this support ticket:

Ok, I am able to test this on staging, and the problem is not resolved.

If added manually (using SQL) to my account, "Australian languages" is not shown among preferred languages (neither in portlet, nor in preferences), but it's shown in eg. https://staging.launchpad.net/products/evolution/+translations

So, the problem is that preferred languages are already restricted to only visible ones, except on the translations page. So, need to fix this to show even non-visible languages in portlets and preferences (so one can remove them).
