The Open Software Foundation (OSF) was established as a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt corporation focused on technology research and development to essentially derive open source and standards-based technologies free-of-charge to the general public, Technology Training to foster economic development, and Green Initiatives for a greener earth. We see these three areas as important to the innovation, crafting, advancement of technology and our knowledge of it as well as the management of and maximizing their life span and end of life through various ways of responsible disposal or recycling.
