I like the idea of automatically generating a suggestion for the "Name" but allowing the user to manually alter it, if they prefer.
I'm definitely +1 on renaming the "Name" label. If we use "Launchpad ID" would that be too ambiguous? Would some users pop their own Launchpad ID in there? Perhaps if we used, "Unique project ID", or similar.
