Huge side note - seems like Hardy still have lot of stuff broken while Gstreamer CVS and Intrepid Ibex looks very healthy. This bug of course is only reproducible on Hardy.
If it is Gstreamer issue (will check this again tomorrow), then unfortunately it won't be possible to fix, as Gstreamer is frozen for Hardy. I suggest use Gstreamer CVS with Jokosher instead.
