infinityOS is on hiatus until August

Written for infinityOS by Ryan Oram on 2010-06-20

Due an overwhelming amount of both university and job related work, I have decided to put infinityOS on hiatus until the beginning of August. This includes package updates as well as core OS updates.

In the meantime, I recommend that interested users try out Linux Mint, an easier to use and cleaned up version of Ubuntu. http://linuxmint.com/

infinityOS will relaunch in August, based on the Ubuntu Lucid codebase.

Sincerely,
Ryan

Note: All versions of infinityOS released to date are fully compatible with Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic. Existing users of infinityOS will continue to receive security updates from the Ubuntu team and can use any package made for Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic.
