The gEDA team have recently made two new releases:

The gEDA-gaf 1.8.2. release is an important update to the 1.8 stable series. It contains two critical bug fixes that were causing occasional crashes, and enables compilation with the most recent versions of Automake.

The gEDA-gaf 1.9.1 release is the latest preview release from the 1.8 unstable development series. This release contains many improvements to the gschem UI, including the addition of a tool for drawing paths with Bezier curve segments.

All users are very highly recommended to upgrade to version 1.8.2 as soon as possible. Power users who want to try out the latest features are encouraged to test version 1.9.1 and report any bugs to the gEDA bug tracker.
