CrashUp Project aims to recover Openstack resources occupied by different Openstack tasks pending since long time. Usually while executing an Openstack operation, if the associated Openstack service crashes or back-up is being taken, the underlying resource may be blocked in Openstak database marked as currently being used by that operation. When a resource is being occupied by one operation, it can be used by other operations. This project aims to recover such blocked Openstack resources such as instances, images, volumes and networks allowing them to be used by other operations.
