Bug Description
Ambiance is normally supposed to have dark-colored menus. However, in Precise some of the menus are white instead, particularly those which appear when right-clicking something (e.g. the desktop) or submenus under the global menu (see attached screenshot for an example with the Terminal, though it shows up in GIMP too). Thus, there is inconsistency in the menu colors.
Radiance is also affected, as it has all white menus, but some of the menus use a white other than what the theme is supposed to use. An additional screenshot showing this has been attached in a comment.

Actually, the same problem occurs under Radiance. If you look closely, you'll see that the white used for submenus is not the same as that normally used. So, both default themes are affected.
