Please merge runit 2.1.1-4 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

Package works well after pbuilder build.

IMHO the addition of the Home page field to debian/control should be done by the debian maintainer. If this is the only remaining change, this should probably be a sync.

Please read the package description. Since the debian maintainer is neglecting it (the patch was forwarded a year ago, and once more 2 days ago with no reply), I have to make this change.

Also, the Ubuntu patches add an Upstart file to the package as well, which are required. Thats why a merge is required.

I noticed that my changelog message is not complete. Refreshing debdiffs.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time with the debian maintainer, I noticed BTS #508467, please wait for the debian maintainer to make this change.

would you please use this version and update your patch. Thank you for removing the Homepage field change, you should also remove this entry from the changelog, otherwise looks good. :)

    - Upstart doesn't appear to accept multiple "start on runlevel" lines. Replace
      Upstart script with a version that uses a single line
    - Place upstart script in the correct directory with the correct name
    - No longer avoid stripping binaries on amd64.
    - debian/rules: provide runsvdir.upstart
    - debian/rules: don't compile against dietlibc on sparc and powerpc to
      avoid FTBFS
    - debian/rules: do not strip if architecture is amd64, fix FTBFS
    - don't execute anything if /etc/inittab is not available on the system
    - Start the runit supervisor after install.
