Kopete & amarok menu not reappearing on plasma widget menubar when docked to systray

Thanks for your feedback. Can you mention the versions of the different modules you were using while reproducing the issue? In particular, the version of QT and the version of the plasma widget package, and dbusmenu-qt as well.

I am using:
KDE 4.4.4 on kubuntu 10.04,
using qt 4:4.6.2-0ubuntu6~ppa9, kopete 4:4.4.4-0ubuntu1~lucid1~ppa1, amarok 2:2.3.1-1ubuntu1~lucid1~ppa2, and plasma-widget-menubar 0.1.2-0ubuntu1~ppa1, libdbusmenu-qt2 0.3.2-0ubuntu1
I have disabled ppa from canonical-dx-team few weeks ago because at that time it will break my kde instalation if i choose to update.
so I haven't check it further if there's an update from that ppa.

OK just update the package few minutes ago and gladly knowing that package from canonical-dx-team wont break my kde so I update the package.

Now I'm using:
qt 4:4.7.0~beta1+git20100522-0ubuntu1~lucid1~ppa1+appmenu20100624
libdbusmenu-qt2 0.5.0-0ubuntu1~ppa1
plasma-widget-menubar 0.1.7-0ubuntu1~ppa1

kopete & amarok still the same coz I haven't upgrade it

Now there's two menu. one in the apps window and one in the applet, but I guess that was on purpose by the developer.

And the problem still exist. If I open amarok or kopete from lancelot or launcher both menu exist but when I close it and those apps goes to systray the menu on the applet wont show but the menu on the apps window still show.

Dont know if another apps that goes to tray when clicking the close button will have the same behaviour

There was a generic problem with applications going to the systray. It has been fixed in bzr. The fix will be in the next release of plasma-widget-menubar.
