vlc crashed with SIGSEGV in dbus_connection_dispatch()

This is a crash in the Xlib error handler from the GLX video output. It should be fixed in VLC 1.1 already. In the mean time, please try to use another video output from the VLC preferences panel.

Also please provide the Xlib error message which should be visible in the console right before VLC crashes. It looks like a bug in your OpenGL driver is triggering this crash in VLC.

This bug was fixed in the package vlc - 1.1.0-1ubuntu1
