Opening an English dictionary, I see both "connexion" and "connection". Is one more suitable than the other?

Both mean exactly the same thing but spelling is Amrican for connexxion and
British for Connection - is all :-)

I think we should stick to en_GB, to be honest this is the first time I've seen the word "connexion"...

Most people will be unfamiliar with connexion, I would also go with en_GB..

Maybe we should use "connection" but also mention "connexion" and that it is
American spelling in the help-documentation ? That way no more confusion...

Sweet, this is an easy merge to propose, do you of you care about doing that?
grep -r connexion *

PS: just take care, in French, it's "connexion", not "connection" and maybe in some other po file as well. (just keep po file untouched I would say, it will be autorefreshed on next build).

I would love to do this Didier but I am very new to the forum and launchpad
and still studying and trying to understand how thnsg are done and I have no
desire to do something and break anything... but if it is really this simple
*grep -r connexion ** in a terminal I am willing to try. Please guide me
though... so I open my terminal then type in grep -r connexion * ? That's
it ? Please advice :-)

I've used perl -pi -e 's/connexion/connection/g' `find . -name "*"` for that (note that this isn't optimal as it spits out some warning for directories, but it works)

Your welcome Didier, I didn't do much.. simply pointed out the obvious I think.

To be honest I am less than a month into linux but learning fast ( Quickly :? no pun intended:) and liking it very much, yes Lukasz was quicker and is also I feel much more experienced with Linux.

I will try to get up to standard as fast as possible, I have never had the opportunity to use something such as launchpad and being inexperienced was worried I may break something in the repos.

But Ubuntu IS awesome and so are all of you who do the hard work behind the scenes to give us such a truly fascinating operating system. I feel extremely privileged to be actually working with the likes of you and Rick and Lukasz and every one else.

So Thank YOU all !
