This is a weird error. The file is correct and I haven't found any duplicate. Are you able to reproduce it ?

The bug is a pretty obvious missing import. Attached branch fixes this.

Hi barry,

The error here is "NameError: global name 'hostnamebject' is not defined"
There is no 'hostnamebject' in the code and I hardly see how an import error could change the source code. It rather looks like a compilation error specific to the reporter's system.
I guess you're referring to bug 537250
