Bug Description

Ubuntu 9.10
when inserting checkbox sublists for todo items, the "Checking a checkbox also changes any sub-items" feature does not work and when you leave and go back to the page, the sub-item is moved one line down and it's positioned as a regular todo item with no indent - previous position not saved.

-setup your todo the normal way: 2 brackets + spacebar
-write text "item 1" + enter
-line below todo item:
-place cursor before new checkbox and hit tab key
-move cursor past checkbox and write text "item 2"
-marking initial todo as done works fine - checkmark appears - can toggle states also
-toggled state for initial todo doesn't affect sub-item
-sub-item checkbox state doesn't change when clicking on it - it's always empty - does not respond

is there something I am doing wrong?

Can you also try putting the cursor behind the checkbox and use tab?
Does that make a difference?

Confirmed that recursive checking does not (yet) work - will look into that.

either way, the tab doesn't work.
forgot to mention that if I close ZIM and come back later, the tab spaces for the todo sub-items are gone and so the checkbox is moved to the beginning of the line. This also happens when I leave that page and go back. At this point, the checkbox is active - meaning I can insert a checkmark - but it's no longer considered as a sub-item.
And so when I go back to the page after application restart or page change, the tab spaces are gone AND there is a blank line inserted between the main todo and the sub-item.

I'm sorry, but I can not reproduce this, works fine here. Please run zim with "zim -D" (after closing the tray icon) and check for any error output.
