Bug Description

9.04 had fast user switch applet, which appears to be not present in Karmic. There is no equivalent setting I can find in any preferences or gconf to disable locking on switching user.

To me, this is a regression. This computer is used by family, and switching happens often.

I am experiencing the same issue. I lost the ability to switch users when I upgraded to 9.10.

I would rollback to 9.04 if I knew how :) I will help troubleshoot this bug in any way that I can -- please contact me!
