Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

I am using Karmic-A2-64. Once I run update-manager, the system asks me to restart the system, and when I restart, it just logs off from x-session. Have to manually restart using restart on GDM screen or System->Shutdown->Restart.

This works for me with the current karmic, could you please check that you have the latest gdm, gnome-session and update-notifier packages ?

I guess, I have all latest versions.

gdm - 2.26.1-0ubuntu7
gnome-session - 2.26.2-1ubuntu3
update-notifier - 0.86

I did the update today and the restart working ok. I am not sure which package resolved the problem but it is now resolved.
