Bug Description
When the timeline graph fails to load, it pops up a nasty alert(). This isn't too bad in most cases, but it treats navigation away from the page while it's loading as failure, so aborts the attempted navigation with a "0 Error retrieving series data." alert.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to a project page to which you have not been recently, so the timeline data isn't cached.
2. Quickly click on a link, before the graph is displayed.
3. Have your plans thwarted by an ugly alert().
