Bug Description

After landing the MailingListAPIView soft timeout branch, we're noticing a bunch of messages in logs/xmlrpc like this:

May 06 16:34:05 2009 (5364) No Launchpad team: pyqtdc

grepping the logs I find the following teams have recurring such messages:

gto-server-developers
iass-dev
itscout
mayanna
monos-developers
monos-users
polimix
pyqtdc
winlibreteam

but all of these are perfectly valid teams on LP and seem to have perfectly valid mailing lists. LOSA confirms at least that gto-server-developers has a mailing list on forster. What gives?

This is just a bogus message. You'll get this when a mailing list exists but it has no subscribers or people allowed to post to it. So the fix is to just change the log message.

Changed in launchpad-registry:
assignee: nobody → Barry Warsaw (barry)
importance: Undecided → Low
milestone: none → 2.2.5

pyqtdc and gto-server-developers now have subscribers, so we should see no more of these messages for those teams. I will double check at the next log sync. The last such messages for these teams in the current logs are:

May 06 16:33:39 2009 (5364) No Launchpad team: gto-server-developers
May 06 16:34:05 2009 (5364) No Launchpad team: pyqtdc
