Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-mouse

In Intrepid Ibex, I'm able to move my mouse but X does not catch any mouse events after short usage with 4 separate X screens/4 monitors. It works when I first start X, but after using Firefox for a bit, my mouse ceases to report X events, though I can still move it around. Using a config with 2 twinview screens on 4 monitors, this issue does not occur. the 'xev' application confirms this by fully reporting X events from my keyboard but nothing from the mouse.

Correction: the bug occurs with both twinview and 4-separate-screen X configs. I'm now testing twinview without Xinerama enabled. This could possibly be a Xinerama+Xorg+mouse issue.

I have not experienced the bug with 2 twinview screens and xinerama turned off.

I'm having the same problem with the same graphics card, and 4 monitors.
I've confirmed this bug only occurs when Xinerama is on.

I have had the same problems. I immediately saved my xsession-errors file off when this happened to me recently. Attaching a copy..
