Bug Description

Hi

I've just tried your Dapper Flight2 live CD, English version

I found 3 points

1-The resolution is 1024x768 max whatever the screen definition, e.g. my Toshiba
M70-168 laptop, basically designed for 1280x800. Actually, this Tosh definition
is OK with Breezy. On my tower PC w/ a Hyundai 1280x1024 screen, it's the same
limitation.

2 - At the first screen which appeared at reboot, I depressed the F2 key for
switching to French language, but no change, everything's in English

3- Unlike the installed Breezy, and the Kaella Knoppix live CD, my vfat
partitions are not automatically mounted on the Desktop.

That's all for now. I'll do my best to try the other coming Flight French versions.

Happy New Year to you, wonderful Ubuntu team

You don't seem interested by my testing, so I'd better do something else!!!

Hi, thanks for your bug report. The problem is that you:
1. posted 3 problems in one report (you should really post one bug per problem)
2. posted the bug in the wrong package, I admit, these are hard to get for your problems.
3. didn't wait long enough ;)

I admit that 9 months is a bit long and I only found this bug because I'm cleaning out old bugs.
We get a lot of bugs each day, and apparently your bug got lost in between all the other ones. And honestly, there were a lot more bugs lost.

You could really help us by testing the latest Edgy CD's and see if your problems still exist with that one!

And please don't get angry about that, sometimes you just have bad luck.

Yes, you did the right thing, because I moved to Edgy and it works very fine on my laptop.

I'm not at all angry because I think you do a great job. Edgy is very good and Feister ...... should be terriffic!!!

Have a nice day
