Bug Description

Binary package hint: gksu

Got this crash report when running update-manager from the system menu. "Starting Administrative Application" showed up in the taskbar, with no dialog popping up to collect my password. Then, the crash report popped up. This is on an amd64 intrepid install of ubuntu on an Intel Core 2 duo. This is related to bug #275044 that I reported:
