Bug Description

Hello,

I am using Launchpad to translate the Printer-friendly pages module for the Drupal CMS. This, as all other modules, is hosted on the drupal.org website.

One of the rules of hosting modules there is that all files must be GPL-licensed. Since this goes against Launchpad's change to the BSD license for translations, I am forced to abandon Launchpad for the purpose I was using it.

I know that the BSD license does not invalidate the use by GPL software. The problem is that the translation files will be BSD-licensed and I will be unable to host them in the official distribution site for Drupal modules.

To avoid confusion by the users of my module, I have removed all references to Launchpad as a translation tool in the module's homepage and I would now like to remove the project itself from Launchpad.

My previous comment is confusing. I should have stated this request should have been filed in the 'Answer' section for Launchpad as a request for administrative action. The bug has now been converted to such a request and will be acted on by a Launchpad administrator.
