Bug Description

If you are using Totem or Rythmbox, you have to middle-clik the "time slider" to go to a specific moment of the video/music track.
If you left-click on the timeline, nothing happens, you can only drag the slider using left-click.

I think a lot of user does not know the possibilities of the middle-click but try to left-click the timeline.

I think we can have left-click and middle-click to do the same operation safely.

IMPORTANT : If you look at the behaviour of a standard slider (like in the mouse preferences), you can left-click OR middle-click to place the slider at a specific place. Why Totem or Rhythmbox have different behaviour?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . I have classified this bug as a bug in totem and rhythmbox.

Verified the fix works. Reproduced the problem with the version from intrepid-release, and verified the fix with the version from intrepid-proposed. Tested with a lot of navigating and watching video.
