Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Ubuntu Hardy with latest updates (it happened in Gutsy as well).

when message selected and Message->Create Filter From Message menu item selected, "Filter Rules" dialog created and shows filter options. In "Perform these actions:" section there is default action "Move Message to" and butto next to it that looks like drop-down list button. clicking on this button drops down tree control. When mouse hover over this tree control the selection got stuck on one of the tree item and the only way to change selection to press button to close dropped tree and press again to make it drop.
It's very annoying and creates bad overall impression about usability and UI feedback.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner.
There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test the current Ubuntu development version (10.04). If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect 242947, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Please check if this issue still exists in Thunderbird 3.x in Ubuntu 10.04 or 10.10.
