"Timeline" on a project page is misnamed

Bug Description

The "Timeline" on a project page (e.g. https://launchpad.net/bzr) is misnamed. It is just a list of series, milestones and releases, and says nothing about times or dates. Trac has a "timeline" feature that is much more appropriately named, showing interesting events in a project (such as commits to branches and bugs being closed) in chronological order.

The Timeline in Launchpad should either be renamed, or perhaps even better, be made more like an actual timeline of interesting events, rather than a catalog of obsolete releases.

I've linked this bug to the specs for creating a trac like timeline. I'll leave the name change to Thumper to accept/reject.

I don't think this bug is relevant to those blueprints. We would still want a list of recent series, releases, and (other) milestones on a project page regardless of whether the full-blown timeline was implemented.

just started playing with launchpad and I agree - Timeline is confusing.
I would suggest to rename it "Version History" and add time and dates next to each version.
