The podcast in question is Touch Radio 25. The other episodes I have tried seem to work fine. What happens with #25 is that I get a few hundred ms of sound and then amarok freezes for a little while before evaporating from the desktop altogether. I don't know whether or not the audio file in question is corrupt, but obviously amarok shouldn't crash even if it is. --===============3665316117442278888== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: Sujee Maniyam (sujee) Date: Tue, 03 Jul 2007 07:17:39 -0000 Message-Id: <20070703071739.15520.41954.malone@gandwana.ubuntu.com> confirmed, Running Amarok 1.4.5 with kde 3.5.6 (Kubuntu Feisty) After adding the podcast, trying to play ep#25 1) if I try to play it by streaming then Amarok crashes (buffering messages= goes from 1% to 100%) 2) if downloaded ep#25 then play it , Amarok played it fine. --===============3665316117442278888== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: Sujee Maniyam (sujee) Date: Tue, 03 Jul 2007 16:32:30 -0000 Message-Id: <20070703163230.9157.25988.malone@gangotri.ubuntu.com> amarok bug : http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D147504 --===============3665316117442278888== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: Sujee Maniyam (sujee) Date: Thu, 12 Jul 2007 20:59:09 -0000 Message-Id: <20070712205909.30217.98917.malone@potassium.ubuntu.com> looks like a xinelib bug http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=3Ddetail&aid=3D1752968&group_= id=3D9655&atid=3D109655 --===============3665316117442278888== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: Sujee Maniyam (sujee) Date: Fri, 13 Jul 2007 08:36:16 -0000 Message-Id: <20070713083616.31676.75.malone@gangotri.ubuntu.com> Bug also exists on Gutsy with following versions Amarok : 1.4.6 KDE : 3.5.7 amarok-xine : 2:1.4.6-0ubuntu1 libxine1 : 1.1.7-1ubuntu1 lbxine-extracodecs : 1.1.4-2ubuntu3 --===============3665316117442278888== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: Sujee Maniyam (sujee) Date: Fri, 13 Jul 2007 16:13:42 -0000 Message-Id: <20070713161343.5372.135.malone@potassium.ubuntu.com> this is the result of xinelib bug reported. rebuild libxine1 package when the fix is released --===============3665316117442278888== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: =?utf-8?q?=C3=89tienne_BERSAC_=28bersace=29?= Date: Sun, 30 Sep 2007 22:04:49 -0000 Message-Id: <20070930220449.17895.76894.malone@gangotri.ubuntu.com> Anyway, very nice bug number. --===============3665316117442278888== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: Reinhard Tartler (siretart) Date: Tue, 08 Jul 2008 21:00:52 -0000 Message-Id: <20080708210053.29251.69335.malone@potassium.ubuntu.com> this bug seems to be in the faad library.
