Bug Description

appmenu-gtk is obsolete and has been replaced by unity-gtk-module which conflicts and replaces appmenu-gtk.

appmenu-gtk won't build in Saucy now anyway because the patch it needed has been removed from the gtk packaging.

This has caused https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+2.0/+bug/1200006

Is there any way to either roll this back (so as not to break functionality), or anything on the roadmap to fix it properly? I'll take "obsolete" over "gone" any day.
