I loved to use Wallch to auto-change my wallpaper randomly or to use the nice features it has such as "picture of the day" or "real time earth".
But with this "feature" that has proven to be more of a bug than a feature since it won't obey and has alienated the user, I can't use it anymore. The OSD I have fixed thanks to "notifyosdconfig" but all of the tools to change the dash colour (CCSM, MyUnity, Unsettings, Ubuntu Tweak) are overritten by this terrible piece of terrible code. If it's an unexperience mistake, thus bad supervision of the project, I can forgive that. But if not I percieve this as complete arrogance and disregard for the end-user from the Unity team in ways that remind me of Apple's policies, and as such is unacceptable from an opens source project.
