Default settings for the Baltix GNU/Linux OS package is a dependency of baltix-desktop. It contains custom system and desktop UI settings, panel layout, software repositories and basic artwork (login window theme, start-here and other Baltix logos) for Baltix GNU/Linux OS, GNOME and other applications.

* Internet bookmarks for Lithuanian people (links to useful sites like press or public institutions)
* custom GDM theme and Baltix logos
* custom GNOME panel and desktop UI settings in /usr/share/
* Additional software repositories for Lithuanian/Latvian people and multimedia
* custom settings and additional launchers in Desktop for new users (files in /etc/skel/ folder)
