PPA for Jaakko Sipari

Bleeding edge audio production apps which are hopefully some day included in the current or next release of Ubuntu. Both new upstream versions and completely new apps! All of these packages have been uploaded to REVU (in case of new package) or the diff attached to a launchpad bug (in case of a new upstream version of patch). If an app get's to the official repositories I'll remove it from my PPA (this page).

My primary target at the moment is to get as wide LASH (http://www.nongnu.org/lash/) support as possible to Ubuntu but I'm also interested in bugfixes and new features for audio production apps. I'm also very interested in software synths (DSSI, LV2 or Alsa-Seq/MIDI).

At the moment I have here:
whysynth - Versatile DSSI softsynth (LP #177679)

Removed packages (found their way to the official repository):
jack-rack - Newer upstream version of jack-rack with LASH support (LP #187190)
lashwrap - LASH audio session wrapper for audio/midi apps without LASH support. (LP #184568)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Just add the lines below "apt sources.list entries" to your /etc/apt/sources.list (or create a new file for them under /etc/apt/sources.list.d/). After you've added the lines, you still need to do "sudo apt-get update" and "sudo apt-get install <packagename>".

Example (installs whysynth):
$ sudo su
$ echo deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/jaakko-sipari/ubuntu hardy main >> /etc/apt/sources.list
$ apt-get update
$ apt-get install whysynth
